Message from CEO

2009 NEW MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT & CEO:

Year 2008 has passed in a whirlwind of news and forecasts of the troubled U.S. economy and the threat it now presents for businesses like Maintco Corp. Together with rest of American voters that turned up at the polls in November we too have decided that it is time for some things to change.

As Maintco Corp. marks its 15th anniversary in 2009, we have dedicated most of the year 2008 to re-examine, tweak, refine, scrap or start anew programs, practices, and policies to define and shape our company.

As the new administration transitioned into the White House and Congress passed an economic recovery package, many Energy and Environmental groups issued a set of recommendations to boost the nation’s energy efficiency, create green jobs and save energy and money. Long before these groups urged Congress to incorporate many of the proposals into legislations, Abe and I pursued an old dream and begun our own Green Movement.

Maintco Corp has formed an exciting Green-Technology Division brining on board most knowledgeable team members with over 15 years experience in Alternative and Renewable Energy. I myself became a LEED AP® and together we now hold this golden opportunity to participate in a generation of sustainability models, standards, benchmarks, metrics and performance indicators in support of sustainability in the built environment. Our Corporate offices’ building is officially registered with US Green Building Council (USGBC) to earn a prestigious Green-Building Certification in 2009.

Maintco Teams throughout our Construction, Food & Beverage and the Green-Tech Divisions are standing strong. We are training our employees by implementing green practices related to energy usage, water consumption, air quality, building material and recycling, by educating workforce in Solar Electricity and Solar Energy Installation fundamentals & practices through Trade Technical College classes, and by attending “Green” conferences offered by USGBC, IREM and IFMA.

Our goal in 2009 is to turn information into results fast. We know our options and are placing ourselves in a unique position to use our expertise to help our customers to realize the benefits of improved energy management strategies. We strongly believe the commercial real estate industry will refuse to give in, by going green in recession.

Maintco continues to run a “turn-key operation” by always using the most innovative systems and implementing business models that sets us apart from other companies. For 15 years we have been building relationships and now we are building on those relationships with a competitive green initiative.

Let’s give 2009 a new, green-fresh jump start with an objective of getting through the worst of it and come out on the other side smarter, better and stronger.

Sincerely,

Inna Tuler, CPM, LEED AP®

President, CEO
